What Are Thoughts/Beliefs?
Beliefs are thoughts that you have had over and over until, in your mind, they become the truth. These beliefs define your life, who you are, what you perceive and what you believe is possible in your lives.
The main problem with your thoughts/beliefs is that what you believe is true is actually false. This is why different people report different memories even when they have all just experienced the exact same thing. We do not all see the world in the same way. In fact, no two people are identical in how they perceive their lives or the world.
So your thoughts/beliefs are usually false. These false beliefs hold you back in life. You don't believe in the actual truth, you believe in your perception of the truth. That perception is based on what you have experienced in your life. This is why people can do unspeakably horrible things, they have a different perception than you do so to them it is not horrible.
Are Beliefs Bad?
Beliefs are not bad, but we do form them without realizing that we are forming them. We have the beliefs that we form about our bodies, exceptions, capabilities that are based on what we learn in our society. Every time you watch that commercial about how wonderful that fast car is to drive and how it raises your status, you are accepting that belief. This means that you are not making a conscious choice, you are making a conditioned choice. And this is not just happening with commercials, it is all of the input into your life from television, radio, internet, books, friends, family, etc. If you are watching the news and hearing the horrors of the world over and over you will develop fears about life. These conditioned beliefs limit your life in many different ways.
Since it is your perceptions that shape your life and your possibilities, you can see how letting go of those perceptions can have a huge impact on how we live. So many of your beliefs actually dis-empower you and keep you stuck in a life that you do not enjoy!
How Do I Change My Beliefs?
I have been guided to a technique that uses statements made to the Innate Body to deprogram your mind. I was guided to this technique this summer and it really works! I call it Innate Releasing and it takes all of the struggle out of deprogramming your mind. The main advantage of this technique is that it works really fast! It's just a matter of you letting your Innate Body know what you are ready to release or accept in your life.
This technique can be used alone or combined with other techniques, which have an even greater impact on changing beliefs! I am also developing new ways of using this technique that will release groups of old beliefs and programming!
