Guilt, what a lovely word. The most amazing thing about guilt is that it is something we are taught to feel. And something we continue to teach our children to feel. Why do we feel the need for guilt? It is a matter of control. If I can make you feel guilty for doing something that I didn’t want you to do then I have the control. Guilt will make you think twice before doing the action that I don’t want. Now the thing to remember is that guilt does not stop people from doing those things that make them feel guilty. If it did then there would be no crime, no war, no arguments, no disobedience of any kind. We would all do exactly as we were told just because we didn’t want to feel guilt.

We often hear the term, being in the flow, but do you understand what it means? Let me describe it with a situation that many of us have had. You’ve met someone and started talking and the conversation just flowed. You look at a clock and realize that you have been talking for hours but it seems like just moments because it was so natural and open. You were in the flow. You may have also had conversations that seemed to take forever, it was like you and the other person just were not connecting, not speaking the same language. You were not in the flow. I’d like to share how unconditional love has come into my reality. I was married for almost 20 years and now I am single. I was going along living my life, no major problems when my guidance told me to join these social groups for the purpose of meeting men. I had no interest in meeting a man. I’d just come to grips with being single and the thought of dating was not something I was looking forward to. My guidance told me I would be doing it just for fun, nothing serious. So I joined two social groups and met lots (over 50) of men in less then 4 weeks! We have been taught for many, many eons that we are each completely separate from all else. It’s funny when you think about it because we are also taught that there is a soul mate out there who will complete us. If we are separate why are we not complete? Who is making this stuff up? What are we suppose to believe? |
